The Tennessee Titans tried the dangerous strategy leaving Brandon Marshall uncovered on Sunday.

If you’re gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough. No word yet, but unconfirmed reports have come out that the previous phrase was actually Tennessee’s play call when defending the New York Jets on Sunday. After all, what else would you call it when a team decides not cover its opponent’s best wide receiver.

Behold: the bold strategy of lining up everyone inside the hashes and daring Brandon Marshall to stay uncovered.

Your 2015 Tennessee Titans, ladies and gentlemen. Hell, when the season is already in the tank, why not get inventive. Maybe next time pull the ol’ lay down and play dead defense.

And if we’re putting a positive spin on things, the Titans’ nearly catching Marshall just shows how athletic they are. That’s was some nice recovery speed.
