The Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers played a crazy game. We have the highlights.

The Chiefs held on for a 10-3 win over the Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon. While the game was low-scoring, it was certainly exciting with the Chargers having the ball on the 1-yard line with less than 10 seconds remaining. However, after two penalties, San Diego threw an incompletion to end the game.

Philip Rivers had a decent game, throwing for 263 yards on 43 attempts with an interception. Alex Smith threw for 191 yards with a touchdown and interception, doing just enough to put the put Kansas City at 8-5. The Chiefs are the top AFC wild card team going into Week 15 despite a 1-5 start.

Highlights

Three Stars

1. Dee Ford

Ford was filling in for Justin Houston and did a hell of an imitation. Ford, in his second career start, made three sacks and had nice coverage on the final play of the game, making sure that Danny Woodhead could not haul in the pass. Ford looked like the first-round pick he is, showcasing elite skills.

2. Albert Wilson

Wilson made the big play of the game, scoring on a 44-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Wilson has not been much of a factor throughout the season with less than 300 receiving yards, but he made it happen in a clutch moment.

3. Antonio Gates

Gates was terrific throughout the contest, catching six passes for 76 yards. Gates was consistently finding a way to get open in the middle, giving Rivers a nice target to throw at.

Odds

The Chiefs were favored by 11.5 points and did not cover the spread against the Chargers.

Next Week

San Diego will be hosting the Miami Dolphins at Qualcomm Stadium while Kansas City takes to the road to play the Baltimore Ravens.
