Redskins’ Matt Jones thinks he still plays in college (Video)

Matt Jones had maybe one of the more boneheaded plays of the entire NFL season on Sunday.
You know, you can always count on a member of the Washington Redskins to give us a laugh on Sundays. This week, they were at it again, with Matt Jones being the culprit.
In the second half of this one, Kirk Cousins fired the ball down the field and Jones actually made a pretty terrific catch. Seriously, for a running back, he showed off some pretty impressive wide receiver skills here.
But, the problem was when he came to the ground.
You see, when Jones hit the ground, he apparently transported back to his days at Florida. He hit the ground, and no one touched him, meaning his is not down in the NFL. Well, someone forgot to tell him that, because he proceeded to flip the ball to his right in the direction of some Bears who would be more than happy to have it, which, yes, is a fumble.
This was one of the dumbest plays that we have seen all season. However, if you want to look for a positive out of all this, the Redskins did recover the ball there.
Still, this is something that, as a professional, you just can’t do.
