Philadelphia Eagles rookie receiver Nelson Agholor catches a 53-yard pass for his first NFL touchdown

The Philadelphia Eagles had an interesting week. Since shocking the New England Patriots last week, reports have been flying around about discontent in the locker room as running back DeMarco Murray is unhappy with his role. The anger from Murray has not affected the rest of the team as they are moving the ball with ease against the Buffalo Bills.

With the score tied 7-7, the quarterback Sam Bradford took a shot deep, throwing to rookie receiver Nelson Agholor, who brought it in for a 53-yard score to give Philly their second lead of the day.

The catch was just the second play of the drive, which lasted only 58 seconds. The quick strike touchdown is something that has escaped Philly this season, but was a staple of their offense the past two years since head coach Chip Kelly came on board.

The Eagles took Agholor with their first round pick this season, and the 20th overall selection out of USC has not yet shown the explosiveness the team hoped they would get. The long score was the first of his young NFL career, and for Philly, it is hopefully a sign of things to come. Coming into the game, the rookie had just 16 receptions for 163 yards.

The Eagles needed a win bad in this game as they sit in a tight NFC East race with the New York Giants and Wahsington Redskins.
