Pat McAfee pays electric bill for 83 customers

Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee has helped out those less fortunate by paying the electric bill for 83 customers.
The holiday season is all about giving to those less fortunate. Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee did just that by paying the electric bill for 83 customers.

McAfee has a booming leg on the field and he’s also a part-time comedian with one special already out. However, he made the day of 83 IPL Power customers earlier this week with his generosity.

Unlike some professional athletes, McAfee is down to Earth and humble as shown in his tweet. It’s a small gesture on his part that surprised 83 customers and will make their day during the holiday season. Now instead of using that money for the electric bill, they can now spend that money on something that will be meaningful to themselves or someone else this year.
The benefactors of McAfee’s actions could also pay it forward in another way as well. Classy move, McAfee. Your selfless actions don’t go unnoticed and is something that is contagious and inspirational especially during the holiday season. It was a small hit to his pockets, but for those on tight budgets around this time of the year are now not wondering how they will pay the electric bill and can now enjoy the most wonderful time of the year.
