Philadelphia Eagles. 17. team. 54.
Fly, Eagles, fly, on the road to victory. Fight Eagles fight, score a touchdown one-two-three. Hit ’em low. Hit ’em high. And watch our Eagles fly. Fly, Eagles, fly, on the road to victory! E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!

Rex Ryan may think (and say) his Buffalo Bills were the better team on Sunday, but guess who came out with the victory? Yup, the Philadelphia Eagles. And LeSean McCoy can cuss all he wants about really wanting to beat his old team and former coach (whom he may or may not have insinuated was a racist during the offseason), but you don’t think Chip Kelly wanted to put boots to asses?

After a November swoon, the men from the City of Brotherly Love have circled the wagons and come out firing in December. Two December games against AFC East teams; two December victories over AFC East teams. Maybe last week’s victory over the New England Patriots wasn’t a total fluke.

If Philadelphia wants to make the postseason, it’s going to have to earn it. Next week is the Arizona Cardinals who, outside of the Carolina Panthers, is the best team in the National Football League (probably should’ve added a spoiler alert there). And then the season closes out against the Redskins and Giants. The NFC East may be terrible, but damned if the Eagles aren’t doing their best to make it interesting.
. (6-7). Previous:
