Enes Kanter almost kills crowd with heave (Video)

An errant full-court heave by Enes Kanter endangered the lives of those that came to see the Oklahoma City Thunder play.

The warning to watch for flying objects at a sporting event was made for a reason.

Too often things from the field of play enter the stands. which can cause injuries or worse. On Wednesday night, fans that simply came to see the Oklahoma City Thunder play, were subjected to what could have ended up as a terrible situation, as Enes Kanter heaved a desperation full-court shot at the end of the quarter.

Unfortunately for that quiet, compassionate crowd that never gave anyone trouble, Kanter’s pass went well past the court of play and right into the stands like it was shot out of a cannon.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t a t-shirt coming out of his cannon of an arm, it was a hard rubber basketball.

For anyone that’s ever been on the wrong side of getting hit by a basketball at full speed, it’s not pleasant and can lead to injury. Kanter’s shot came nowhere close and it’s probably best for everyone’s safety going forward that he doesn’t take any more full-court shots.
