LeBron James showed his loyalty to the Nike brand by deflecting questions about Under Armour.
Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James recently signed a lifetime deal with Nike that will keep his brand one of the strongest in the world, even after his playing days are finished.
With such a big contract and having the faith of one of the largest brands in the world instilled in him, James has gone above and beyond to be loyal to Nike.
In fact, he’s so loyal to Nike that he even deflects questions about other brands. When a reporter tried to ask him about Under Armour and the deal that Kevin Durant signed with them, James acted like he didn’t recognize the brand and kept asking, “Who?”

James is the ultimate company man, and does whatever it takes for his team or his brand to be successful. With James now guaranteed to be a part of Nike for life, his image will forever be plastered among the greats who have also signed on with the brand giant.
Under Armour is a strong brand as well, and has many of the top athletes across the world as well. However, with a lifetime deal in hand from Nike, they don’t exist to LeBron James.
