Famous rapper Wale released a song inspired by Bryce Harper called ‘MVP’

Bryce Harper is on top of the world. He’s the MVP, only 23 years old and already has people talking about how he will eventually be the highest-paid player in the history of Major League Baseball.

Not only is he on the precipice of putting together a legendary career, he has inspired people with his play and his character off the field. One of those inspired by his play is the rapper, Wale.

After the Washington Nationals’ slugger’s impressive season, Wale, a Washington D.C. native, has dropped a brand new track inspired by Harper called, “MVP.”

Just like Harper hits the baseball hard, the beat for the song hits heavy as well and Wale really puts in a Bryce Harper-like performance with this one. (WARNING: NSFW LANGUAGE)

He doesn’t just name drop Harper either. He also talks about Dusty Baker, the Nationals’ manager, Stephen Strasburg, Scott Van Pelt and the greatest ESPN Sportscenter anchor of all time, Stuart Scott.

Harper still has his whole career ahead of him, but things that he’s already doing at a young age have set him up for greatness. Others like Wale have already recognized the true greatness that he has become and is continuing to become.
