Welcome to the BAE Index.

Richaun Holmes? Richaun Holmes!

The Philadelphia 76ers lost their 26th game of the season tonight. It was the 27th game they’ve played. This is a very bad ratio. As you may expect, the Sixers are running out plenty of players hardly anyone has ever heard of. It’s safe to say rookie forward Richaun Holmes is one of those unknowns. At least he was, until he did THIS to Al Horford (via @NBA):

Hassan Whiteside has no time for gravity

Hassan Whiteside has been in a bit of a slump recently, but broke out of it in a major way last night against the Nets. The Heat big man finished with 20 points and 13 boards, but his lone block (out of nowhere!) was the best thing he did all night (h/t @uuords):

Even Andrew Bogut is clowning the Suns

The Warriors are fun, and they seem to have fun playing basketball together. We don’t think of Andrew Bogut as much more than a rim-protecting big, but he was happy to show of his passing #skillz in Wednesday night’s drubbing of the Suns (via @TheCauldron):

The Warriors are so ridiculously good that they make impromptu plays seem like they’re part of the playbook.

Lance “Dance” Stephenson!

Lance Stephenson’s role has been all over the place so far in his first season with the Clippers, but he made the most of his opportunity last night against the Bucks. Stephenson tallied four points, four assists and two rebounds in 18 minutes of action, and one of those dimes was this beauty to Paul Pierce. You know when a baseball player hits a home run and knows it’s gone right off the bat? That was Lance on this play.

Tim Duncan, professional bully

We aren’t even through the second full month of the season yet, but the San Antonio Spurs are already to the point where they can rest star players and still win easily. Tim Duncan was the player Gregg Popovich decided he didn’t need tonight, and San Antonio beat Washington convincingly anyway. During a timeout, Duncan decided to disrupt his own presumed boredom by tormenting an unsuspecting Spurs operative (via @SBNationGIF):

Mind your manners around the elderly, youngblood!
