Odds and trends of Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens.

The Kansas City Chiefs are hoping to win their eighth consecutive contest on Sunday afternoon, taking on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank. Kansas City is only visiting Baltimore for the second time since John Harbaugh took over the coaching duties.

The Chiefs are expected to win the contest by Vegas standards, with Kansas City being favored by 7.5 points on the road, according to OddsShark. The OVER/UNDER has been set at 41.

Baltimore has been a great home team throughout the years but has endured a brutal string of injuries this season, including Joe Flacco, Steve Smith, Terrell Suggs, Dennis Pitta, Eugene Monroe, Chris Canty, Jeremy Zuttah and Justin Forsett being placed on injured reserve.

Kansas City is 8-5 and hoping to reach the postseason for the second time in three years under head coach Andy Reid. Reid turned around a franchise that went 2-14 in 2012 to an 11-5 group in 2013 before taking a step back in 2014, going 9-7.

As for trends, the Chiefs are rolling. During their seven-game win streak, they have covered the spread six times. On the other hand, Baltimore is 3-8-2 against the spread over its last 13 contests.

Bottom line: Kansas City has a top defense and Matt Schaub is throwing to Kamar Aiken and Co. Swallow the points.
