Kenny Britt goes for long TD (Video)
Kenny Britt went for a long touchdown, putting the St. Louis Rams further ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
At least if we have to watch this game, it has been fairly entertaining to this point. The Rams are throwing caution to the wind because, when you are 5-8 and everybody is likely to be fired the Monday following the season, why not?
Midway through the first quarter, the Rams took a 14-3 lead when Case Keenum loaded up and threw for justice, finding veteran receiver Kenny Britt for a 60-yard touchdown. Britt was able to beat his man in man-coverage, showing that he can still run.
This could be the last game ever played in St. Louis, finally giving the city a reason to hold another parade for the Rams. Since the days of Marshall Faulk and Kurt Warner, this franchise has been nothing short of rancid. It is fitting that on such a sad night, there is almost nobody in the stands of the Edward Jones Dome.
Hopefully the Rams can sneak out of the city with some shred of dignity, should they choose to leave.
