LeBron James takes out Jason Day’s wife, she leaves on a stretcher (Video)

LeBron James trucked a woman on the sideline Thursday night who happened to be Jason Day’s wife. 

Sitting courtside at an NBA game, while exciting, is really one of the more dangerous things to try out as a spectator in all of sports. Sometimes, athletes as large and fast as LeBron James come trucking full speed toward you, and you have to move out of the way. If you don’t, it’s probably going to hurt.

Unfortunately, this was a heard lesson learned by the wife of professional golfer Jason Day, Ellie, who got a little too up close and personal with LeBron.

With the Cavaliers taking on the Thunder Thursday night, LeBron was going for a loose ball toward the sideline. Of course, he was going full speed and really had no time to put the brakes on. Day’s wife didn’t even attempt to get out of the way, so this happened …

That was a pretty rough hit. So rough, in fact, that she had to leave the arena on a stretcher. Hopefully the hospital trip was really just a precaution and Mrs. Day will make a quick and speedy recovery.

But this is a lesson for anyone that does plan to sit that close to the action at an NBA game that you have to have your senses on high alert at all times, or this takes place.
