Ray Rice is not giving up on playing in the NFL again (Video)

While the chances still don’t look all that promising, Ray Rice believes that he should get another shot in the NFL.
From the day where we saw visual evidence of Ray Rice committing domestic violence in an elevator against his wife, it was more or less understood that he could no longer be allowed back in the NFL. Even after serving the suspension that was handed down to him, no team gave him a shot prior to this season getting underway, and it doesn’t look like anyone will anytime soon.
Despite this, though, Rice is not losing his hope that he can once again don the pads and carry the ball for someone.
Rice was a guest in studio on Thursday of the Dan Patrick Show, and during the course of the interview, he admitted that he’s certainly not ready to give up the prospect of joining a team somewhere down the line.
Rice also added during his time in the studio on Thursday that he started to really realize that he was being blackballed from the league when no team gave him a call to come to training camp. That was the point where it set in for him that no one wanted him.
You give the guy credit for keeping his name out there, especially after what he was caught doing. But as more time passes, he’s only going to get older. When you couple that with the perception of him, putting those pads on again really seems like a long shot, if there’s even a possibility there at all.
