One Canadian high school basketball player scored 103 points amid a three-point shooting craze.

One high school player in Canada just posted one of the greatest high school basketball scoring outputs of all time. Canadian high school standout Ahmed Ali, a senior basketball player for John Polanyi Collegiate Institute, scored 103 points in one of the greatest three-point shooting performances in high school basketball history.

Ali hit an incredible 23 three-pointers, according to North Pole Hoops. The entire game, everyone knew something special was going on as Ali continued to hit an incredible amount of shots. One of those that knew right away a special night was in order was his coach.

"“After the first half, I started taking stats, I felt something special was going to happen,” explained his Prep Head Coach Adeel Sahibzada. He shot approximately 50-60% from the field for the game, according to Sahibzada.“They tried box and one, double teaming, diamond (1-3-1) and 3-2 zone defense” he continued.“He kept going further and further.”"

To score 103 points at any level is an absolutely incredible feat. It doesn’t matter who the opponent is, the person scoring has to almost make every single one of their shots and can’t miss too many in the allotted amount of time per quarter.

It’s clear that with a performance like that, that Ali has range from deep and will definitely have a lot of schools looking at home for his scoring ability. It’s not every day that someone drops 100 points in a high school game, but when it does happen, something special is in the making.

One of the great things about high school basketball is that the same glass-shattering dunks and big scoring games that happen in college and the pros, also happen at the high school level as well.
