Atlanta Hawks vs Boston Celtics

Within just a half-game of each other, the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics could switch spots in the Eastern Conference standings, No. 9 and No. 10, if the latter comes out on top. While the Celtics are one of the more improved teams in the league this season, the Hawks are a bit down as they’re only three games above .500 at 15-12.

The Celtics have been solid this season because of the addition of Isaiah Thomas who Boston added midway through the 2014-15 season. He is leading the team with 21.2 points and 6.6 assists per game. The sharpshooting Avery Bradley is second on the team in scoring, 15.9 points, and he leads the team in three-point shooting at about 42 percent.

It seems as if Brad Stevens might be on track to bringing the Celtics back to relevance after a few seasons of dwelling in the cellar.

Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk will have their hands full in the post trying to stymy Al Horford and Paul Millsap. Horford is averaging 15.2 points and 7.1 rebounds per game this season while Millsap leads the team with 18.1 points and 9.0 boards.

Atlanta is looking to put a nice winning streak together, but they have been pretty average up to this point in the year. Point guard play could also help jump-start the team as both Dennis Schroder and Jeff Teague are two talented guys who make it hard on opposing guards.
