NBA FanDuel Picks For December 18
We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.
Here are my FanDuel picks for December 18:
Next: Point Guards
Dec 14, 2015; Brooklyn, NY, USA; Brooklyn Nets guard Jarrett Jack (2) works the ball around Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton (4) during the third quarter at Barclays Center. Orlando Magic won 105-82. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports
Point Guards:
PG – Michael Carter-Williams – MCW has been playing well over his last three and seems to have stabilized as far as production is concerned. He is getting some consistent minutes and they may even be trending up over the last few games. He is a pretty decent value play and offers some attractive upside.
PG – Jarrett Jack – Jack has been pretty solid over his last several games and has been nearly over 30 fantasy points in four of his last five. At his price tag he also is a good value play with some upside.
Next: Shooting Guards
Dec 9, 2015; Boston, MA, USA; Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler (21) works the ball against Boston Celtics forward Jae Crowder (99)in the second quarter at TD Garden. Mandatory Credit: David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports
Shooting Guards:
SG – Jimmy Butler – Butler is playing some very inspired basketball right now. I like the energy that he brings to the court and you know you will get 110% every time he is on the court. His numbers have been pretty good over is last several games and he is a very safe bet to land us 35 or more fantasy points.
SG – Will Barton – Barton is another guy who is playing some of his best basketball right now. He continues to be a nice price for FanDuel leagues and with that I will continue to use him. He has not dipped below 26.9 fantasy points in his last several contests and is another safe bet to continue to bring the mail.
Next: Small Forwards
Dec 16, 2015; Atlanta, GA, USA; Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington (33) attempts a three-point basket against Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver (26) in the first quarter of their game at Philips Arena. The Hawks won 127-106. Mandatory Credit: Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports
Small Forwards:
SF – Robert Covington – Covington has been a little bit suspect over his last few games but is still delivering 20-25 fantasy points. I like his match-up tonight and expect that he will play well against the Knicks for fantasy purposes.
SF – Andrew Wiggins – Wiggins has still had some inconsistencies, but is putting together a nice little string of games. His last three have been good for fantasy purposes and i like his chances to keep that string alive tonight against the Kings at home.
Next: Power Forwards and Center
Nov 30, 2015; Salt Lake City, UT, USA; Utah Jazz forward Derrick Favors (15) defends against Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (23) during the second half at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The Warriors won 106-103. Mandatory Credit: Russ Isabella-USA TODAY Sports
Power Forwards:
PF – Draymond Green – Green has really been putting up some huge fantasy numbers over his last several games. He has had 54.2, 42.7, and 67.2 just over his last three games. With the way he is playing I think it would be foolish to not use him in our lineup.
PF – Kristaps Porzingis – Porzingis has been up and down over his last few games. However, at just $6,400 I feel like he is too good of a bargain to pass up. He offers tremendous upside and the way he plays gives him an advantage in almost all of his match-ups.
Center:
C – Gorgui Dieng – Dieng has finally found the role that most of us fantasy owners had expected coming into the season. He is playing well and seeing about 28 minutes per game over his last six. That should ensure him plenty of production to cover his price point and make him a great value play.
