Nerlens Noel showed off some impressive defense, as he blocked Robin Lopez at the rim.

Robin Lopez won’t be sliding into Nerlens Noel’s DM’s anytime soon, because he’s been blocked.

During what was a block party between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks, the 76ers’ big man Noel delivered perhaps the nastiest block of the night, when he sized up the Knicks’ Lopez. As Lopez went up for what looked like a sure dunk, Noel met him at the rim and blocked his shot right down to the floor.

That’s a grown man block right there. That’s the type of block that gives a player bragging rights over another. Lopez went up strong, but Noel pulled that man card and showed him who is even stronger.

Noel has an incredible wingspan and just put it to good use, as the block served as a good reminder that he is a dangerous man to go up against in the post.

For Lopez, that’s one he’s going to have to live with and he’ll always remember that next time he comes around Philadelphia, to go up with two hands and not try and challenge Noel with any of that one-handed stuff that he calls a dunk attempt.
