The Dallas Cowboys fell short once again on Saturday night, this time against the New York Jets.

Saturday night’s NFL game featured the Jets going into AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX, to play the Dallas Cowboys. It came with the Jets playing for a playoff spot and the Cowboys just wanting to stay mathematically alive in the NFC East race.

Early on, we had a quarterback change for the Cowboys. Matt Cassel was struggling mightily, having thrown a terrible interception and taking a horrible sack. With no reason to wait anymore, this led to Kellen Moore coming in to take over. He eventually threw a touchdown pass, his first one since his college days at Boise State. There were a few ups and downs for him as well.

The game would come down to the final minutes. The Cowboys drove down the field after the Jets made the game 16-13 to hit a game-tying field goal. However, the Jets would follow this up with a big drive of their own to set up the game-clinching field goal. The final score was 19-13.

Highlights

Check out Kellen Moore’s first career touchdown pass.

Ryan Fitzpatrick hit Eric Decker with this go-ahead touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to make the game 16-13.

Jets kicker Randy Bullock hit the game-clinching field goal late in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Three Stars

1) Darren McFadden

McFadden looked sharp all night long for the Cowboys, putting up 16 rushes for 100 yards. He has taken over as the team’s No. 1 running back and run away with it.

2) Eric Decker

Decker caught the go-ahead touchdown pass from Ryan Fitzpatrick midway through the fourth quarter to put the Jets up 16-13.

3) Demarcus Lawrence

Cowboys defensive end Demarcus Lawrence had a solid game. He had three tackles for a loss and a sack to lead the defensive line.

Odds

The spread had the Jets as the favorites by 3.5 points.

Next Week

Next week, the Cowboys will be traveling to Buffalo to take on the Bills while the Jets will go back home to face the AFC East leaders in the New England Patriots.
