NFL Week 15 picks and predictions

Sports Illustrated’s Don Banks makes his picks and predictions for Week 15 of the NFL season.

Every week, Sports Illustrated’s Don Banks and ScoreBig team up to make their picks. With Week 15 of the NFL season upon us and playoff races are heating up, but that also means we’re fully aware there are some bad teams making picks somewhat interesting.

Banks has been tremendous with his picks this season. last week he was a solid 11-5, improving him to 133-75 on the season.

Without further delay, here are Banks’ picks for Week 15.

This is an easy pick to make, a quality Jets team versus a depleted Cowboys team.

The Chiefs should roll against a struggling Ravens team depleted by injuries at key positions.

This is a close and intriguing match up in the generally woeful AFC South. Banks is giving the Colts the edge over the Houston Texans who are making a post season run.

The Jaguars beating the Falcons? This would seem crazy other years, but plausible this year.

Given the direction of both teams this sounds like a no-brainer, but Banks has it close.

This is going to be a bloodbath and it is impossible to pick the Titans over the Patriots.

This is a huge upset pick. The Giants beating the unbeaten Panthers? Might seem ridiculous, but Eli Manning ended the New England Patriots unbeaten season once before, and nearly did it in their regular season clash that same year.

The Redskins and Bills is a meeting between two close teams in different situations, with the Redskins fighting for a playoff spot Banks gives Washington the edge.

The Packers are getting rolling and while the Raiders have been good, Green Bay should roll

Obvious to see Banks picking the Seahawks over the Browns, but he is picking a blowout which is probably very likely.

The Steelers are playing the Broncos in an intriguing match up between AFC contenders. Banks is giving the Steelers the edge over the Broncos in a game that could go either way.

These are two dismal teams, Banks is predicting a close win for the Chargers though. It is kind of a toss up.

The Bengals should roll to a win over the 49ers, this is an easy pick.

Another bold pick from Banks in this game. Banks is rolling with the Eagles to beat the dominant Cardinals. This would be an upset.

The New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions are squaring off in a game of struggling teams. The Saints have been able to put up numbers at times and Banks has the Saints beating the Lions in a mild shoot out.
