Still in the league, there’s no way that you can question the greatness of Kevin Garnett at this point. He’s one of the defining players of this generation and has had a tremendous amount of both individual success and even team success as he joined the Boston Celtics after leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves. In light of all of this, his nickname of ā€œThe Big Ticketā€ is 100 percent fitting of Garnett.

Obviously Garnett is known as ā€œKGā€ as well, but in terms of traditional nicknames it’s ā€œThe Big Ticketā€ that reigns supreme and that’s far from a bad thing. When you think about the implications of the nickname, it’s certainly one that is fitting of Garnett, especially when it was handed to him during his early years in the league in Minnesota.
