If it’s up to Jeff Hardy, he would love for nothing more than to end his career in WWE.
As we get set to move into 2016, we start to speculate on some fresh faces that we could see make an appearance in WWE, both new and old. One of the names that has been making the rounds lately has been Jeff Hardy, who seems as if he might be all but finished with his run in TNA Wrestling.
Of course, seeing Hardy in WWE in 2016 might be unlikely, especially with the news recently that an injury could keep him on the sideline for the majority of the year. But, that really doesn’t mean that we won’t see Hardy in the company that made him a star some time down the road, and if it were up to him, he’d love to make that happen.
During a recent appearance on Ric Flair’s podcast, Hardy expressed his desire to finish off his up-and-down career with the company that really got it all started for him.
"I’ve done most of everything I’ve wanted to do, but I guess there [are] two big things. I mean, and those two big things are I never got to do a Hell in a Cell in the WWE. That’s a pretty big one. And I’ve never main evented WrestleMania, so, ultimately, if it could all work out one day before it’s all over, I’d like to do those two things.I’m not sure when, but I think both Matt and myself would love to end our careers in the WWE and it’d be super, double great to be able to have a few more good ones with the Dudley Boyz, for sure."
When the Dudley Boyz made their return after SummerSlam in August, that’s really when the talk started to heat up about one or both of the Hardys making their way back home. Of course, all due respect to Matt, the consensus is that Jeff is the one they all want to see on the big stage once again.
He’s up for it, but the question down the road will be whether or not WWE is up to giving him one final chance.
