3. Cordy Glenn-Buffalo Bills

There might not be a more important position in the NFL than left tackle. Cordy Glenn is one of the best players in the league at that position so he’s a lock to get a big-time contract this off-season.

Glenn has been simply awesome this year for the Bills. He’s helped make Tyrod Taylor look like a competent NFL quarterback which ought to be at the top of his free agent resume. He’s an excellent pass protector and a standout run blocker even from the left side. He’s the total package at one of the NFL’s most demanding and crucial positions.

Buffalo simply can’t afford to let him go in free agency. He’ll have the opportunity to pretty much name his price to the Bills and still expect them to pay it. I’m not sure they could replace him with a comparable replacement at all, much less at a cost they would be willing to pay. Smart money here has Glenn being locked up by the Bills who want him to anchor their offensive line for years to come.

If the Bills blink, then Glenn will find no shortage of suitors for the franchise left tackle. It would be a costly hesitation for sure.
