Alec Burks had a candidate for dunk of the year tonight, and his Utah Jazz teammate Trevor Booker would likely agree with that statement.
Burks found an open lane to the rim against the Phoenix Suns and took his chance to airborne against poor Jon Leuer. He never stood a chance.
Burks dunk sent the crowd into a frenzy, and it turned Booker into a real life version of the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man.
Trevor Booker's reaction to the Burks' dunk was priceless! 😂😂😂 #PHXatUTA pic.twitter.com/cwVBeX1plu

Booker himself even acknowledged after the game that he forgot where he was and didn’t get back on defense like he was supposed to. Either way, nice to see him staying focused on what’s really important out there, and that’s losing your mind when your teammate has the best dunk of the season. Forget the whole defense thing. That stuff’s overrated.
I forgot to get back on D https://t.co/nCkXdP0ooU
