Quadruple overtime games and clashes between contenders made Week 8 one of the best of the 2015-16 season so far.

While every week of NBA action delivers us thrilling moments, heated discussion, and great entertainment, week 8 has been one of the best so far. From quadruple overtime games to multiple clashes between top teams, every fan has had plenty of basketball to enjoy over the start of December. Most of us probably wouldn’t have expected the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls to compete in a tireless contest with four overtime periods. Without doubt, it was one of the best games of the season so far.

But if that shock and suspense as a fan was too much to handle, at least some things in the NBA never seem to change right now.

The Golden State Warriors are still winning at 26-1, the Philadelphia 76ers keep losing at 1-28, and the San Antonio Spurs are still being completely overlooked.

They’re 24-5 and they still aren’t receiving enough credit for their performance so far. Their team play is as evident as ever, LaMarcus Aldridge is fitting in well, Kawhi Leonard is soaring as a two-way superstar, and their league-best defense is ridiculously good right now. Quite frankly, if there’s one team who looks like they can beat the Warriors, it’s the Spurs.

However, while Golden State and their golden MVP keep getting all the attention, the Spurs can enjoy going under the radar and surprise any contender they face. Just remember, they should not be overlooked, no matter how old Tim Duncan gets.
