Temple head coach Matt Rhule has spit hanging on his chin (Video)
An unfortunate camera shot during the Boca Raton Bowl caught Temple head coach with Matt Rhule with spit hanging on his chin.
Sometimes camera shots will catch things on the sidelines that people didn’t really want to see. It could be a player vomiting, a coach with a finger up his nose or worse. For those that were watching the Temple Owls take on the Toledo Rockets in the Boca Raton Bowl, everyone watching was treated to a disgusting sight featuring Temple head coach Matt Rhule.
As the cameras panned to the sideline to show Rhule coaching, a big piece of spit was hanging on Rhule’s beard as he was coaching from the sidelines.
It wasn’t just a tiny amount either, which makes it all the more disgusting to look at. Every coach gets fired up and spit goes flying all the time, as coaches yell and scream at refs or directions out to their players.
Unfortunately this time, the spit stayed with Rhule on his chin, and it was an absolutely vomit-inducing sight to watch on television. It’s all part of the coaching profession, but there’s just something unsettling about the sight of a grown man with a big dab of spit on his face.
It was impeccable timing by the cameras of ESPN as well.
