A year after missing out on the services of Kevin Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder are starting to get back to form and look like the team everyone was used to watching a couple of seasons ago. Missing out on the playoffs was a big wake-up call for this franchise and you can bet Durant and Russell Westbrook won’t let that happen again.

The Thunder are one of three teams in the Western Conference that are at least 10 games over .500 and are solidifying themselves as one of the best squads in the entire league. Durant has come back from injury with a vengeance, average 26.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Westbrook is also playing well, averaging 25.4 points and 9.4 assists.

On the other hand, the Los Angeles Lakers have been one of the poorest teams in the league. With the worst record in the West and second-worst in the entire league, Kobe Bryant’s last season in the NBA is going to end up as a disappointing one.

Bryant isn’t as good as he was in his heyday, but he’s leading the team with 16.7 points and second with 3.4 assists per game. There is still promising young talent on the roster in D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Louis Williams, Julius Randle and Nick Young.
