Week 16 NFL picks.

It is Week 16 of the National Football League season, and there are still plenty of playoff spots up for grabs. Amazingly, all of them can be snatched up by the time the Monday Night Football game is over between the Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals at Sports Authority Field.

In the NFC, the math is wildly simple. Should the Washington Redskins defeat the Philadelphai Eagles on Saturday, the NFC East belongs to the folks from the nation’s capital, along with the fourth seed. Then, if either the Atlanta Falcons lose to the Carolina Panthers or the Minnesota Vikings beat the New York Giants, Minnesota earns at least a wild card spot.

In the AFC, the Houston Texans can clinch the fourth seed and the AFC South with a win over the lowly Tennessee Titans. Meanwhile, the Broncos can wrap up at least a wild card spot with a victory against Cincinnati, provided either the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers or Kansas City Chiefs also lose.

The Steelers and Chiefs also have a chance to punch their tickets, playing the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, respectively. However, both teams need to win their games and get a loss from the Jets.
