Without Curry on the floor, that takes away the Warriors biggest weapon. The team is still plenty talented, but if they lose the MVP for any extended amount of time, they are going to be in some trouble, especially chasing history if their best player is out for a while.
The Cavaliers began to really excel as expected without Curry on the floor, and his absence really robbed everyone of a game that people had been looking forward to for quite some time.
One of the keys to the Warriors’ championship last season, was their ability to stay healthy. This season, the team has had to deal with a fair share of injuries already. They have been able to respond because they have had Curry out on the court, but without him it’s going to be interesting to see if they can hold up without him.
He returned to action not long after though, but Warriors fans can only withstand so many scares like this.
