Kirk Cousins made probably one of the dumbest moves that a quarterback could make against the Eagles on Saturday.
All things considered, especially with where the Washington Redskins sit right now, Kirk Cousins really hasn’t taken a lot of criticism. He’s played well throughout the year, and they’re even talking contract extension for him.
On Saturday night, though, Cousins was the subject of a lot of criticism at the end of the first half against the Eagles, and really, he deserves every bit of the flack that he was taking.
As the Redskins were driving to end the first half of this one, the clock was still running. So, of course, you’d expect Cousins to spike the ball to stop it. Well, he didn’t do that.
Nope, instead, Cousins decided it was best to maybe take a knee.
:06 left in the half.

Yes, this was a thing that actually happened on Saturday. Cousins literally had one of the biggest brain farts of all time and this is a moment that he will never really live down. He can do all the good things on the field, but this will never be forgotten.
