Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins zipped a beautiful touchdown pass to Chris Thompson to extend their lead.
While Kirk Cousins made a terrible gaffe at the end of the first half that cost the Redskins points on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles, he redeemed himself early in the second half.
Cousins took the Redskins right down the field with effective passes to Jordan Reed and the rest of his receiving corps, as the Redskins marched right down into Eagles territory.
Cousins fully redeemed his first-half gaffe, when he zipped a line drive of a pass into running back Chris Thompson, who ran the ball into the end zone.
For all the jokes and anger that there was for Cousins at the end of the first half, that was a good way to silence everyone and put it behind him. The best quarterbacks in the league have short memories after mistakes.
That was a great example of a short memory, as Cousins put together a fantastic drive. He went over 300 yards on the night with drive and showed great development once again at the quarterback spot.
It was also a great show of hands on the play by Thompson.
