New Orleans Pelicans forward Ryan Anderson took flight and threw down a monster dunk against the Houston Rockets.

Ryan Anderson became one with the spirit of a Pelican on Saturday night.

On Saturday night, this Pelican found his wings and threw down an absolute monster slam on the Houston Rockets, who knew better than to try and get in his way.

With a full head of steam, Anderson blew by the Rockets’ Clint Capela and had a wide-open lane to the hoop. That’s where the mighty Pelican rose and soared majestically.

The Rockets’ Trevor Ariza thought initially about trying to stop this mighty bird, but he thought better of it, as Anderson came down on the hoop with absolute power.

Anderson has been the subject of trade rumors across the league for quite some time now, and if teams are watching him play against the Rockets, then they know that he can clearly do a lot more than just shoot from deep.

He can also fly and be the embodiment of what a Pelican really is, and that’s a strong, powerful bird with an eye to soar to great lengths.

That’s exactly what Anderson did with that dunk against the Rockets.
