It was total domination in the first quarter, as Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed picked up his second touchdown.

Sundays may belong to Rob Gronkowski when it comes to tight ends, but Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed clearly owns Saturday night.

Against the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday night, Reed dominated the Eagles’ defense and made terrific plays to give the Redskins the lead on the road early in the game.

The Eagles struck first in the game, but the Redskins came back and scored on a tremendous play by Reed, who split Eagles defenders. Then the Redskins went right back down the field again, and Reed found his way into the end zone with a spectacular run after the catch.

Reed took defenders head-on at the goal line and pushed his way into the end zone.

Reed clearly has a nose for the end zone and his emergence at the tight end position could not have come at a better time for Washington, as they have a chance to clinch the NFC East on the road with a win.

It may have been early in the game, but Reed set the tone with his physical play and athletic ability. Fantasy owners competing for a championship with Reed really love him right now too.

It’s Jordan Reed’s world and were all just living in it.
