Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed split the Philadelphia Eagles‘ safeties for a touchdown.

The Philadelphia Eagles drew first blood against the rival Washington Redskins on Saturday night in Philadelphia, but it was the Redskins who came right back down the field and scored, as they fired one back across the bow to their NFC East rivals.

With the Redskins trying to clinch the division on Saturday night, they’re going to need all the big plays that they can get. Their first big play of the night came when tight end Jordan Reed made a fantastic move to split the safeties and score a touchdown.

Reed blew past the linebackers and with the safeties out of the box, it gave quarterback Kirk Cousins plenty of time to deliver a dime to his tight end.

Reed has been making plays like this all season for the Redskins, and has had his breakout year as one of the good tight ends in the NFL. If he keeps developing the way that he is, then the Redskins will become a more dangerous team, especially with the playoffs near.

The only thing that went wrong for the Redskins on Reed’s touchdown was that they missed the extra point after.
