Cam Newton made it look easy as he gave the Carolina Panthers the first score of the game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tis the season to be jolly. It’s also the season for Cam Newton touchdowns as the Carolina Panthers quarterback scurried into the end zone for the first-quarter score. While the Atlanta Falcons are on a continued crash course since their 6-0 start, the Panthers are firing on all cylinders as their undefeated season is still in tact.

It looked like the Falcons have just stopped trying as Newton made it easy to find the end zone untouched. The rushing touchdown for Newton puts him way ahead of some top running backs in the lead. In fact, he has more rushing touchdowns than both DeMarco Murray and LeSean McCoy combined.

Even more impressive he is now the first NFL quarterback to throw for 30 touchdowns and rush for eight touchdowns in a season according to the NFL communications office.

After the touchdown, Newton gave the ball to a lucky fan as he has for each touchdown this year.

It’s a good time to be a Panthers fans and this season will go down in the history books for many reasons. One of the main factors into the historic season has been Newton’s play on the field.
