The Arizona Cardinals destroyed the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, and Corey Redding was an animal.
When the Packers and Cardinals met on Sunday, we were expecting a game that would provide a preview of their potential showdown in the postseason. But if the game played is any indication of who that playoff matchup will go, we can just skip it and move on to the next thing.
Not only did Arizona maul the Packers offensive line and pulverize Aaron Rodgers, they rolled on defense in a pretty big way.
After a turnover in the third quarter, Corey Redding returned the ball to the end zone which would at the time give the Cardinals a 31-0 lead. On his way to the end zone, Redding decided that he wasn’t about to let Eddie Lacy get in his way and taught the young running back a humbling lesson to stay the hell out of a big guy’s way.
Not only did he emasculate Lacy on his way to the end zone, but Redding proceeded to cap things off by impersonating Ric Flair as a cherry on top of his sundae.
This is why the Cardinals are so dangerous. Not only are they flying way under the radar to most casual fans, but they’ll have fun while kicking your ass and not feel bad at all about doing it.
