Brooklyn Nets vs Miami Heat
Fans of the Brooklyn Nets have seen their team go from playoff-worthy for three consecutive seasons since the name change to second-to-last place in the Eastern Conference with an 8-22 overall record through 30 games. It has been a tough season for this team, but losing some talent over the years in Paul Pierce and Deron Williams has hurt.

The sharpshooting Joe Johnson has been horrid this season, shooting just 35 percent from the field and an even worse 30 percent from three-point range. He is averaging just 10 points per game and has been no help to the struggling Nets. Brook Lopez, to no one’s surprise, leads the team in scoring while Thaddeus Young has been a solid No. 2 scorer for Brooklyn.
On the other hand, the Miami Heat have been vastly improving, especially since having lost LeBron James last season. A year ago, they finished eight games under .500 and looked to be lost without their leader and NBA MVP candidate, but Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, along with Hassan Whiteside, have put this team back together.
Wade, Bosh and Whiteside all look like legitimate All-Star candidates, but for the 18-11 Heat to improve and maybe even contend for the No. 1 seed in the playoffs, Goran Dragic is going to need to improve his passing numbers.
