Here are how the Green Bay Packers can clinch a playoff spot in Week 16 of the NFL season.

Now in Week 16, there are only two more games to go in the NFL season. The playoff picture is far from clear, and the 10-4 Green Bay Packers are right in the thick of it. Battling with the Minnesota Vikings for the NFC North division, the Packers’ postseason destiny is in their own hands. On Sunday, they play one of the best teams in the NFL in the Arizona Cardinals, but need a win to keep the pressure on the Vikings.

The path to the playoffs is simple for Green Bay. They have assured themselves of a postseason berth, but are still in the mix for a high seeding, and face divisional battle with the Vikings. Furthermore, after facing the Cardinals on Sunday they then play the Vikings themselves in Week 17. Minnesota has been one of the nice surprises of the NFL season, and Mike Zimmer’s team sit only a game behind their NFC North rivals.

The Vikings face the New York Giants in Week 16 and will be expected to win, especially with the Giants having nothing to play for after the Washington Redskins wrapped up the NFC East om Saturday night. If the Vikings win out, they will win the NFC North, due to a better divisional record than the Packers. However, the Packers still have hope of not only winning the division but securing home field advantage with the second seed in the division.

If the Packers win out and the Cardinals lose out, something that is made much more likely by the two meeting in Week 16, then the Packers will usurp the Cardinals into that second seed. The postseason may be a certainty for the Packers, but there is still plenty to play for, including a divisional title.
