A Baltimore Ravens fan has a tattoo showing his appreciation for the Ravens’ biggest AFC North rival in the Pittsburgh Steelers on his thigh.

A Baltimore Ravens fan has the NFL Fan Tattoo of the Day, according to Busted Coverage’s Twitter account. It shows the Ravens fan’s opinions on what he thinks about the iconic shield of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Ravens’ biggest rival in the AFC North.

The Ravens and the Steelers have been bitter rivals since the Ravens came into being after rebranding following their move from Cleveland as the original Cleveland Browns in 1996. The Ravens have won two Super Bowls since the rebrand over 20 years ago, the same amount Pittsburgh has won in the same time frame.

While Baltimore has had its worst season since the mid 1990s, it is understood that the hatred between the Ravens and Steelers is one of the NFL’s most bitter rivalries. Along with the Cincinnati Bengals, these are the three teams fighting for multiple playoff spots out of the AFC North.

In a season that Baltimore has officially been eliminated from playoff contention, this thigh tattoo would surface during a rivalry game where the Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives. For its NSFW nature, the fan does have his Ravens body art in an appropriate place, above the knee cap on his left leg.

The menacing child on his leg is clearly up to no good, showing a cliche way of blatant disrespect. It’s hard to tell that it is a Ravens fan, minus the purple mohawk and shirt, but it is obvious what he is doing and that is the red, yellow, and blue astroids of the Steelers logo.

People take their football seriously and in a top five rivalry in the NFL, this kind of tattoo isn’t surprising.
