The College Football Playoff is upon us this week, and each team in the fold can certainly win it all.
The 2015 college football season was once again a roller coaster ride that we all loved going through together, and it gave us some more pretty incredible moments. But, as sad as it is to see another college football season leave us, that also means it’s time to crown a new national champion in the greatest sport on earth, which means that we’re set for the College Football Playoff.
This Thursday, New Year’s Eve, four of the best teams in college football will begin to battle it out for the right to be called the national champion of college football. To get things started, the No. 1 Clemson Tigers will take on the No. 4 Oklahoma Sooners in the Orange Bowl, and that amazing match up will be followed by the No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide taking on the No. 3 Michigan State Spartans in the Cotton Bowl. While there was controversy last season in the first year of the format, not many questioned that these were the best four teams in college football.
When it comes to these four teams, you can look at all of them and see them eventually hoisting the trophy when all is said and done following the championship game on January 11. Of course, though, there are some key ingredients on each one of these teams that will play a special part in seeing that they can add a national championship trophy to their trophy case come January. Without these key pieces, they might not have the chance and might not even be here in the first place, quite frankly.
So, with the College Football Playoff set to get kicked off this week, what is one reason why each one of these teams –Clemson, Alabama, Michigan State and Oklahoma– can win it all? Let’s have a look-see.
