J.J. Watt completely owns a troll because his Twitter game is better
Don’t ever troll Houston Texans linebacker J.J. Watt on Twitter because he will tear you down to the ground.
Everyone who follows the Houston Texans, and the NFL for that matter, knows that J.J. Watt is the consummate teammate. He goes out of his way to make sure both wins and losses are a team effort, and as such, you often see posts like this on his Twitter feed.
Nothing out of the ordinary there, right? Here is a guy congratulating his teammates on winning a big game, with a playoff spot on the line.
Unfortunately, not everyone sees this for what it is. As Alfred said in The Dark Knight Rises, “some men just want to watch the world burn.” In particular, one troll decided to call out Watt for his corny team-speak by calling him a “try hard.”
Well, Watt didn’t take that lying down and made sure the burger-flipper living in his mother’s basement knew what trying hard really gets you in life.
"Well, it got me to the league, got me"
Yeah, I’ll hop on the try hard wagon too if it means I can secure a 6-year, $100,005,425 deal to play a game as a career. If all I have to commit to is working hard for 16 games a year and writing motivational rhetoric on Twitter occasionally, you can sign me up all day long.
