Ole Miss. Laremy Tunsil. 1. player. 35.
As I said last week, the Tennessee Titans can mail in their draft card with Laremy Tunsil’s name on it. Their primary need this year is protecting Marcus Mariota and drafting the best offensive lineman in this year’s draft makes too much sense. When you make a big investment in quarterback like the Titans did by drafting Marcus Mariota, your primary goal is to protect it.

For now, they have Taylor Lewan and rookie Jeremiah Poutasi from Utah manning the left side, but help is clearly needed. The Titans offensive line is one of the worst in the NFL with 50 allowed sacks, that’s the second highest total of any team. Only the San Francisco 49ers have given up more.

With the Ole Miss offensive tackle you’re getting an athletic lineman with just enough size he can handle NFL pass rushers, but not lose any leverage or balance. The key is that his balance and leverage are both excellent. In a division where you have to face JJ Watt twice a year, having those excellent skill sets protecting your former Heisman quaterback is vital to his development as an NFL passer.

Previous Pick: Laremy Tunsil, OT
.
