Jacksonville Jaguars confirm Gus Bradley will return in 2016
Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan has confirmed that head coach Gus Bradley will return in 2016.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are finishing another season without a trip to the playoffs in 2015. However, there’s no denying that the Jaguars saw steady growth this season as a team.
Quarterback Blake Bortles is developing into a good young quarterback and the Jaguars look like they have come a far way from where they were, especially on offense.
With all of that being said, the Jaguars are still finishing with a losing record and there have been questions about whether or not head coach Gus Bradley would be back in 2016. The Jaguars are making sure that everyone knows that Bradley will be their coach in 2016, by announcing in a release that Bradley will be back next season.
Bringing Bradley back makes all the sense in the world for Jacksonville. The players respond to him well and they are clearly making progress as a team. That said, the Jaguars need to take that next step in 2016 and put up at least eight wins or a winning record to show more signs of progress.
The pieces are in place for the team to start succeeding and with another good draft class, the Jaguars can really become a contender to win a very winnable AFC South.
The Jaguars know this and that’s why they have been very patient in their rebuild and have allowed Bradley to do his job without a hanging cloud of being fired over him.
