Twitter reacts to Chip Kelly being fired
Twitter absolutely blew up when the Philadelphia Eagles fired Chip Kelly.
The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t even wait for Chip Kelly to coach the final game of the season before firing him. On Tuesday, the Eagles officially announced that they are releasing their head coach from his contract.
It’s a surprising move giving the timing of it. The Eagles were officially eliminated from playoff contention on Saturday night, but anyone who had been watching the team this season knew that they were done long before that.
Part of their failures came from Sam Bradford missing time, which is nothing new. It seems like the catalyst was Kelly’s absolute destruction of the roster in the first year that he was given complete control over it.
The Eagles clearly didn’t like what they envisioned for the future and have now fired Kelly. The team will now have to bring in someone fresh to fix the mess Kelly had made.
After Kelly was fired out of nowhere, Twitter absolutely blew up when they heard the news of his release.

"Eagles fired chip Kelly"
It sure seems like there is a bunch of Eagles fans that are easily happy about the decision to fire Kelly. Whether it was the right mover or not, it seemed like the writing was on the wall ever since Kelly took a sledgehammer to the roster in the off-season.
He may or may not coach in the NFL again, but the college ranks sure seem likely for Kelly. Wherever he ends up, people sure are happy that the Eagles have fired him.
