Welcome to the BAE Index.
The Grizzlies worked overtime.
The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t exactly known as a team that produces a ton of highlights, especially not in just one quarter. Yet in their overtime victory over the Miami Heat, they used the extra period to show that even teams that play ugly can be fun.
First it was Jeff Green who flew out of nowhere for a dunk as it felt like the Memphis lead was falling apart.
Then Marc Gasol flipped in a circus shot to all but end any hope the Heat had of stealing a win in the Grindhouse.
Bonus points for the dance.
Gyro stepping into everyone’s heart.
Giannis Antetokounmpo continued to gyro step his way into points and everyone’s hearts against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Derrick Williams does his thing.
Derrick Williams does pretty much one thing at an above-average level. That one thing just happens to be dunking, which is an easy way to show up here at The Friendly Bounce.
Is Evan Turner likable?
I don’t know many people who really like Evan Turner as a basketball player, but quotes like this will earn him some fans.
Evan Turner on tomorrow's ovation: People will say it's for Kobe, but deep down it's probably for me.
