Los Angeles Lakers vs. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed a long history of battles in their rivalry, dating back over four decades. However, the rivalry has been more than a little one-sided over the last couple of years with the Lakers’ struggles. Even still, the next chapter will take place on Wednesday night in TD Garden for Kobe Bryant’s last game in Boston.

Isaiah Thomas is finally getting into a rhythm this season after struggling mightily with inconsistent play early this season. With Kelly Olynyk rounding into form as well alongside Avery Bradley and Thomas, this Celtics team could be a dark horse in the Eastern Conference. Contrarily, the Lakers have been terrible on the Kobe farewell tour. Even with talented young players like D’Angelo Russell and Julius Randle, this team is headed for the lottery and praying they keep their top-three protected pick.
