54.
Where did it all go wrong for Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015? There are plenty of explanations such as constantly changing personnel as if they were computer chips, not realizing how much team chemistry means in the NFL. However, what really got things going downhill begins and ends with the offensive line.

Kelly’s offense was so effective the previous two years because he had dominant blocking up front. Yet he kept making changes, unloading quality blockers for guys he liked better and it hasn’t worked. Jason Peters and Jason Kelce were the only reliable ones up front while right tackle Lane Johnson and both guards were constant weak points, both in generating any ground movement or protecting Sam Bradford. This group needs helps, preferably one with power and nastiness.

Enter Taylor Decker. The Ohio State left tackle is one of the catalysts to why the Buckeyes offense has been so effective in recent years. He’s a big, long behemoth who can move well, showing good strength and aggressiveness to drive open running lanes. Though not a dancing bear, he holds his own in pass protection. Not a stretch to see him going to right tackle where it’s an obvious fit.
. OT. Ohio State. Taylor Decker. 12. player
