Michigan State. Jack Conklin. 16. player. 16.
The Buffalo Bills had their chances at making a run in the AFC East but a series of tough defeats ended those hope. Now they must look forward to 2016 as an opportunity to improve their already talented roster to finally end the streak of years without playoff football dating back to 1999. Whether GM Doug Whaley is a part of that remains to be seen.

Often a prime way to improve a team is ensuring it has stability and strength up front. That means powerful offensive and defensive lines. Buffalo has some quality blockers on offense but there are some noticeable weak spots, particularly at right tackle with Seantrel Henderson and Jordan Mills. Worse still, left tackle Cordy Glenn is a free agent in 2016. So the tackle position is one they have to consider going at early.

That makes Jack Conklin of Michigan State a prime consideration. While not the most athletic tackle in the class, he’s functional enough to play left tackle for one of the best teams in the country. He’s committed, works hard, is smart and has a solid base of power that make him a quality run blocker. In simpler terms, he is capable of playing either tackle spot depending on the Bills needs.
.
