Northwestern Wildcats vs. Tennessee Volunteers
Neither the Northwestern Wildcats or the Tennessee Volunteers ever really looked like threats to win their respective conferences in the 2015 regular season, but both teams enjoyed a great deal of success. Now both teams will be looking to cap off their campaigns with a victory as they face off in the 2016 Outback Bowl from Raymond James Stadium.

Tennessee quarterback Joshua Dobbs has established himself as one of the better dual-threat players at the position in all of college football, though he’s struggled with inconsistency. If Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and Jalen Hurd can get going offensively in the Outback Bowl, though, the Volunteers are going to be tough to stop. Also difficult to contain is Northwestern running back Justin Jackson, who finished second in the Big Ten in rushing yards this year. The Wildcats will certainly look to get Jackson going in the Outback Bowl and hope that freshman quarterback Clayton Thorson can find some success.
The Outback Bowl will be broadcast on ESPN2 on New Year’s Day and will be available for live streaming via WatchESPN. Login to WatchESPN or the ESPN app using a cable or satellite subscription and everything should be ready to roll.
