Utah Jazz guard Alec Burks may have a broken leg, but he’s still knocking down shots while sitting on the sidelines

The injury bug has bitten the Utah Jazz arguably harder than any other NBA team through the first-third of the 2015-16 NBA season. The team lost Dante Exum to a torn ACL in the offseason, have been without Rudy Gobert for most of the year, and have been going at it without Derrick Favors recently. Even more recently, it was announced that reserve guard Alec Burks had a broken fibula and would be out for several weeks.

Even with the injury, Burks is still getting up—and knocking down—his shots.

Prior to Utah’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night in Salt Lake City, Burks was on the sideline goofing around with his teammates who were warming up. Part of that goofing around was hoisting up some shots with his broken leg propped up while he sat in a chair on the sideline. Even then, the Jazz guard still found a way to knock down shots:

If they ever institute a H-O-R-S-E contest for NBA All-Star Weekend, Burks needs to be a part of that. I’m not sure many players could avoid a letter on the broken-leg-seated-on-the-sideline shot. I think Burks might have the market cornered in that regard.
